Dr.Albin Lawrence is the Dean of Academics and Assistant Professor of Finance at St.Joseph's Institute of Management (JIM), St.Joseph's College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli. Before joining JIM, he had a brief stint in the industry as a HR manager - Learning and Development at Redington India Ltd, Chennai. He has more than 20 years of experience in academics. A post graduate in commerce from Loyola College, Chennai; a doctorate in commerce specialising in the field of behavioral finance, has authored a book titled ' Behavioural Finance for Retail Investors' and has also published research papers in scopus indexed and ABDC journals. He has done an Executive Programme in Fintech, Banking & Applied Risk Management from Indian Institute of Management - Lucknow. A 'Certified Behavior and Mentoring Analyst' qualified to be a mentor and coach. He is a 'Harvard Business Publishing' trained facilitator of case studies. He is also a trainer in the areas of Emotional intelligence, Team Building and Leadership.
